Client: Private

Location: Moorwood Moor

The White Hart public house in Moorwood Moor near Crich was a valued community pub which unfortunately fell into decline and disrepair over a number of years. Having closed down, the property was speculated over for residential development. However being located in open countryside the planning office were resistant to such developments.

A long standing client of ours purchased the building and briefed us with an objective to return the pub to its former glory. To underpin a viable business case, we were also briefed to incorporate a large restaurant, a wedding venue facility for 350 guests and 10 guest suite bedrooms.

The project now completed, has been an outstanding success, with the restaurant, wedding venue and guest suites at full occupancy.
