Client: Private.

Location: Ambergate.

This impressive Victorian guest & public house built in 1874 by Francis Hurt, sits proudly on the A6 in the UNESCO Derwent Valley Mills World Heritage Site connecting Ambergate to Buxton, Matlock and Derby.

Our remit was to extend the building to create a new 100 seater function room, designed in a contemporary style to offset the original Victorian stonework; assist with the refurbishment of bar and restaurant whilst converting the upper floors to new B&B guest accommodation.

The project is now completed and initial public feedback is extremely positive.
