Forester House is a five storey, 110 bedroom hotel in the heart of the Derby City Centre on the edge of the Becketwell Regeneration site. This former office building will be renovated and converted for national hotel operator – easyHotel.
All guest rooms include double beds, intelligently-designed storage furniture and en-suite bathrooms.
As part of the concept design process, JSA were required to partner with engineers, surveyors and the local authority to explore the feasibility of extending the building, to provide additional floor space for high quality city centre serviced apartments. This involved discussions with Derby City Council and investigation into the impact the scheme would have on the local neighbourhood.
Ground and first floors will comprise a large Asian infused restaurant and banqueting suite. JSA developed interior proposals for a decadent and sophisticated dining experience with an emphasis on ‘show-cooking’.
Serving areas, bars and a striking lobby entrance combine carefully considered mood lighting and bold decor to provide an authentic dining experience.
